address below.  There's no guarantee that somebody on the list will be
looking at your question.  Here is how to call an AS/400 program from ftp:

You can do similar things with a PC ftp server only if the ftp server
understands RCMD.  Most probably, you need to be running an rexec daemon to
get the ftp server to execute commands on the PC, but that depends on the PC
OS and ftp server.  Use quote help or quote server to see what commands the
PC server supports.
