Buck, I think using the Rexec client on the AS/400 (RUNRMTCMD, I think) and an Rexec daemon on the PC might work best for you. Client Access has an Rexec server you can use. Or, if you don't have Client Access on the PC, you can get a pretty good Rexec daemon from Denicomp (http://www.denicomp.com).
