I wrote a Java and a VB program that uses sockets and another Java program
that uses Data Queues to accept PC commands from the AS/400. Your choice as
to which one you use. The PC component replaces the need for an FTP server
on the PC.


If you want the source, and the article that had accompanied them in
Midrange Computing, let me know and I'll email them to you.
