I don't think it matters, but it won't hurt to try.
I have to tell you though, that my intangible "happiness factor" has gone up
immensely since I deleted all my remote OUTQs and went with device
descriptions.  If you want to (and have the machine authority) create a
device description and use that in parallel with the remote outq.
