Lets take this a step further. One of the hot items out there today is a network appliance. Storage, Server, Web or whatever. NO GUI or command line directly available. It is managed by a GUI program on a client computer (Some can also be managed by telnet). This is "Modern" to many people. Using Ops-Nav the AS400 can therefore be considered on the cutting edge of Servers/Network appliances with the ability to scale to one of the largest servers in the world. Why waster server power on GUI - that's what PC's are for. Oh and it also can be used for heads-down high speed data entry. AS400 - everything else is trying to catch up !
