this was great John.  You forgot one thing (or I read over it).  What makes
Linux so advanced when most of the work is done through command line
interface?  Show them linux command line, say it's linux, and you don't need
anything else.  Who needs XWindows.. I can just use Windows (I have had good
luck if I set up my own systems).

Walk through a really big computer room.  Look at the terminals glowing in
the dark.  You'll see a lot of command line interfaces... a few windows
based.  

Windows is great for users... they need pictures.  But for doing the down
and dirty stuff, I like command line.  I still use DOS a lot for configs,
etc. on my PC.  Probably why they work so good.. hehe...
