>> I would like to be able to connect a large (31" or larger) screen monitor to a regular dumb terminal. Connection to the terminal is twinax. I will also be connecting a barcode reader to the terminal. Anyone done this or know how to? What equipment, etc.? I'm not sure why you need to go this big but .... Have you talked to your IBM rep? (yeah I know _what_ IBM rep!) When I worked in the Toronto Lab they had a number of vision impaired folks. I know the same situation exists in Rochester. There were all sorts of special video adapters, Braille keyboards etc. If I recall correctly IBM had a whole group devoted to accessibility and I believe some of the devices were available to customers. Maybe one of the current IBMers on this list knows more about it. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
