There is probably a firewall or proxy between your
servers exposed to the web and your internal servers.
This would not allow routing between the two. You can
have your network guy open a port for you on the
firewall or run a dedicated line from the 400 to the
NT server and bypass the firewall for those two boxes.
This last approach may pose some security issues
though
