We're currently evaluating a product called HEAT which looks VERY nice. It
runs on NT though and not on the 400. It has all the bells and whistles and
will even send SMS messages to a cell phone.

Quite frankly I haven't seen AS/400 based packages that are on a par with
Remedy or HEAT. I wouldn't limit myself to the 400 if I were you.

doing the eval.

I'm currently evaluation a few help desk programs for our company, so far
nothing I have been impressed with (only evaluated two so far).

Does anyone use any helpdesk software they are happy with and can give me a
recomendation?

I would prefer it to run on the AS/400, of course, but that is not a strict
requirement.  Something that doesn't run on the AS/400 will have to be head
above heals over an AS/400 solution, however.
