We use Applix Enterprise. It runs on NT(you could always use a integrated server) and it uses almost any database, I don't believe DB2 is supported but I have heard that it will work. It has its own little language that is like VB, but easier and better. It can be used as a Java client or it has a PC Client. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jim Langston" <jlangston@conexfreight.com> To: <midrange-L@midrange.com> Sent: Tuesday, July 11, 2000 12:43 PM Subject: Help Desk > I'm currently evaluation a few help desk programs for our company, so far nothing I have been impressed with (only evaluated two so far). > > Does anyone use any helpdesk software they are happy with and can give me a recomendation? > > I would prefer it to run on the AS/400, of course, but that is not a strict requirement. Something that doesn't run on the AS/400 will have to be head above heals over an AS/400 solution, however. > > Regards, > > Jim Langston > > +--- > | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! > | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. > | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. > | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. > | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com > +--- > +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
