There are several Notes based solutions out there. We've purchased
a Quality package from EtQ systems via joe_paperman@perfserv.com.
It had a help desk package along with: APQP, Archive, Calibration,
Competition Tracking, Corrective Action, Deviation, Document Control,
Nonconforming Material, Meetings, Material Returns, Material Control,
In Contact, Purchasing, Quality Audits, Quality Records,
Supplier Rating & Inspection, Suppliers, Training, Weighted Inspection,
ECR/ECO, Preventive Action, Preventive Maintenance
Really popular with our Quality departments.

However our help desk is using a different Notes based package from
gwisoft. They were already using it and, granted, it does have a few
more bells and whistles than the EtQ's help desk module. Maybe I am
just used to different icons but I don't find the ones in gwisoft very
intuitive.

Subject: Help Desk

I'm currently evaluation a few help desk programs for our company, so far
nothing I have been impressed with (only evaluated two so far).

Does anyone use any helpdesk software they are happy with and can give me a
recomendation?

I would prefer it to run on the AS/400, of course, but that is not a strict
requirement. Something that doesn't run on the AS/400 will have to be head
above heals over an AS/400 solution, however.

Regards,

Jim Langston
