The AS/400 is seeing those files as having one field only then. A fix is
to externally describe the files and then the transfer will know what to
do.

We have just completed a s36 to as400 migration. I cannot transfer the s36
files from the AS400 to a spreadsheet as it reads each record as one
field.

Has anybody managed to do this

Regards

Conor Farrell
