I have an old S36 routine which I wrote many moons ago to create DDS specs from
S36 F & I specs. It is all S36 OCL and RPGII, and some things it might not
handle well, but you are welcome to use. It was good enough to get us started
converting our systems to native code, and we have recently rewritten our last
RPGII to RPGIV. We are now working on converting the rest of our OCL. E-mail
me privately if you are interested.

One thing you should be aware of if you do decide to convert your production
files to externally described, is that you must recode places in your OCL where
you are deleting and re-creating files. Such as file reorgs and workfile
deletes, if you have such coding.
