Re: Gotta' love these!!

My wife was on the phone, talking to our insurance company (one of the
BIG ONES) as we were in the process of building a new home 5 years ago.

Person from insurance company: What state are you in ?

My wife: Indiana

Person from insurance company: Is that by an ocean ?


There was a lady, where I used to work, that while very nice, was not
real bright. She worked in our Accounting Department. At lunch she would
cover the switchboard. Her husband called in one day while she was on
the board and asked for her. She transfered him to her extension in
Accounting (TRUE story from the person that was training her...).

Another time, she came into the computer room (where at the time I was
being trained as an operator) on a MONDAY and the conversation went
something like this:

My trainer: "Hello <spacecase>, did you have a nice weekend ?"
SpaceCase: "Well, <husband> and I got REALLY sick Saturday night and I
think it was something we ate."
My trainer: "What did you eat ?"
SpaceCase: "Oh we had burgers, I layed some ground beef out on
Wednesday."

Duh...
