Hello, One reason this is not supported is that some of the Fat Client programs actually store data on the PC hard drive. The thin client requires certain configuration information to be retained on a user's PC and uses the IP address to generate a workstation name. BPCS itself in some applications looks for a user's workstation ID to do processing in work files. For these reasons, SSA GT does not support using Citrix to run BPCS Client/Server. As to the question someone else asked, of BPCS 4.05 CD versus Client/Server versions running on Citrix - yes, it is quite different. The BPCS Client software is installed on a user's PC, and requires certain information to be stored on an individual PC hard drive when it runs, which obviously a green screen TELNET session does not require. I suggest (depending upon BPCS version) that you investigate using the BPCS Web Browser Interface (WBI), and run BPCS via a Web Browser (Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher). One caveat here - the Web Browser Interface does require that cookies can be stored on the PC where it runs, since BPCS wants to store the server workstation ID as a cookie (based on a date/time stamp in this case, rather than an IP address) - I am not sure how this will work if you run the web browser from Citrix - if each user can get their own cookies folder, then it should work, but SSA GT has not tested this to my knowledge so if there are other 'gotchas' I would not know about them. At any rate, I suspect that with this interface you would have fewer problems to resolve (though I could not say if it would work or not, as I do not have experience with Citrix in person, just from reading about it). The WBI interface is available from SSA GT starting with BPCS version 6.1.01 and is available to you if you inquire with your SSA GT representative. The BPCS Web Browser interface can be used for running all Thin Client programs, which leaves you then with just user's who require the Fat Client programs (CEA, OLM) to sort out, probably with real PCs, since these applications do store retrieved server data on the PC hard-drive.
