we are contemplating adding a graveyard shift. this would mean that we would need to have BPCS available on a 24 hour basis for inquires, inventory, and labor posting. we need to run MRP and several other batch jobs that access the BPCS files each night. plus we need to do the daily data base backups on the as/400. who has experience with this type of an environment? can you share any thought, what to do's, or what not to do's? sincerely charles doe barton instrument systems
