Bryan: I think I have given you mis information, I am sorry. After re reading your post, I see you have an external modem attached to the 2771. I thought the 2771 was the internal modem that is now available. If you do a WRKHDWRSC *CMN does the card show up as a v.24 port? cjg Carl J. I am pretty sure it does not support sync protocols like BSC or SNA. cjg Carl J. I kept the line description and just changed resource name for the new modem connection. When I try to use the modem (for SNADS in this case), I get the following error: 42001274 -- V.25 - Data line occupied (DLO) was not detected after raising call request (CRQ), or DLO did not drop after dropping CRQ. V.25bis - Clear to send (CTS) was on before Data terminal ready (DTR) was raised, CTS was not detected after raising DTR, or CTS fell before the dial sequence was sent. Do I need to change the line description? Or dip switches? Thanks in advance for any replies.
