I would refer to the manual "iSeries Model 270 and 820 Problem Analysis,
Repair and Parts" available at the following URL:

Page 644 is the section for concurrent replacement of cards on an 820.
You don't need to replace anything so stop after powering down the card
in the removal section and then just power it back up.  Remember that
this is only a possibility.  If it seems threatening (or it's non-urgent
and you're going to IPL tonight anyway) then I would try other things
first.

Feature #0348 is the standard v.24 PCI cable for the 820.
