A quick update.

I just installed RDi 9.6.0.4, started with the base code downloaded from
Passport Advantage
Pulled license key from key center, and applied it
Installed iSphere on the RDI and uploaded the library to 4 systems
Installed PyDev into RDI

All with zero issues other than the initial Installation Manager was being
stupid. Once I installed RDi from the launch script IM was updated so it
could deal with applying all the updates which happened with no issue
whatsoever.

My workspace came up from 9.5.x with no problem either.

Now I don't push RDi like many of you do but it sure is nice when everything
just works.

Greg,

Here are my update procedures.

1.) Update the iSPhere Plugin

Help > Eclipse Market place
Search for "iSphere" and click Update/install

That will update the plugin...

2.) Update the iSphere libraries

window>preference>iSphere>Library

We have three IBM i boxes/partitions running on our Power system.

I enter in our system name or ip-address for each IBM I, and press the big
"Transfer iSphere library" button, and loop through the systems. We have it
installed on all our IBM i "boxes"/"Partitions".

I *assume* you have authority to update the library. <Big Smirk>

PS. Next, I sent an info E-mail to all the IBM i Developers, telling them to
update the plug with the eclipse market place.

This is always such a chore for me...

How do I update? Last time I installed I did it from a local repository. I
would like to just point it to your URL for this and future updates
http://isphere.sourceforge.net/eclipse/rdi8.0/

I can't for the life of me figure out where to do that.
