That's a matter of personal preference. I use VSCode and would call it crude and primitive compared to Eclipse.

Compared to SEU maybe, but RDi/Eclipse is positively stone-age compared to a modern editor like VSCode, for example. Having recently bought a new PC I've just had the dubious pleasure of reinstalling RDi, it's safe to say I can think of better ways to spend an hour or more. Installing or updating anything from IBM is a painful and frustrating processes compared to installing Node, VSCode, Git or just about every other piece of software I can think of.
