Is your workspace on a network drive by any chance? I've seen that as a major cause of performance issues.

Changes in the network (as opposed to RDi itself) could have caused the changes.

Running the latest version of RDi... some of the performance issues I've seen in the past have become so bad that it's nearly unusable.

1. I can't expand QRPGLESRC in RSE views... it stalls while downloading

2. Live parsing stalls at 66% - I have to close/restart RDi

3. Simple searches of small source members can sometimes take several minutes

The list goes on. It seems to be related communications between RDi and the IBM I (located about 20 yards away on the same Ethernet network).

Everything else on my Laptop is fast... For the most part, everything on the IBM I is fast.

How do I go about diagnosing this problem? What can I look for on the host side?

Like most of you, I really don't have the spare time for this.

Thx,
Greg
