I too missed the ability to script the editor, which is why when Joe
brought an article out about the Eclipse Monkey (back during the WDSC 7
days) I jumped on it. Not the same scripting but at least it worked.
But alas that project died off and is no longer supported in the newer
versions of Eclipse.
Thanks, Matt

I had a chance to look at Autohotkey last night but I'm not sure it
will fit my needs. The issue I see is that as I switch views (ctl-F7)
from Lpex to the rse view it's not always a consistent number of
keystrokes.
For example, if I had done a search and that tab remains open I may
have to ctl-F7 past that view as well before I reach the rse view. So
the number of times I need to press ctl-F7 to set focus to the rse
view is not consistent.
Perhaps you could use the menu instead of cycling through the views.
Send !wvrr{Enter}
Alt-w - Open the Window menu item
v - select the View option
r - select Remote System Details
r - select Remote Systems
Enter - end the script with the focus in the RSE view. You'd be running
Alt-l, j instead I think.
I post this for several reasons. One of course is to help you automate
scut work. One though, is to show that there's a... a mindset that
comes into play when scripting. I myself loved the ability to script
Code/400 using Rexx. But very few people seem to share my attraction
and I think it's a more a matter of unfamiliarity than anything else.
Those of us who haven't done much scripting can't readily see the value.
So I'm trying to show some value :-)
