The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

I had a chance to look at Autohotkey last night but I'm not sure it will
fit my needs. The issue I see is that as I switch views (ctl-F7) from
Lpex to the rse view it's not always a consistent number of keystrokes.
For example, if I had done a search and that tab remains open I may have
to ctl-F7 past that view as well before I reach the rse view. So the
number of times I need to press ctl-F7 to set focus to the rse view is
not consistent.
Autohotkey does have a number of Window related commands but I would
need (if I understand correctly) something which would could identify
the tab or view so the script would keep searching until it found the
rse view. I'm going to do more investigation over the weekend. There
is a script page (
http://www.autohotkey.com/docs/scripts/) I will check
out to see if any of these samples address my scenario.
Thanks for the suggestion Buck. Even if it doesn't solve this issue it
looks like a very useful tool the may help me in other areas.

Thanks Buck, as I said I'll take a look at autohotkey when I have time.
It sounds like this may do what I want.
It took me about 10 minutes to download AHK, install it and plink out
that test script.
