Edmund,
In 99% of the cases I would want it in parm sequence. The only
case I can think of is if there are an unusually large number of
parms (say, over 20), I might want the capability to sort them
alphabetically.
A nice enhancement would be to number them, if they are sorted
alphabetically.

Should we always keep them in source order?

Subject: [WDSCI-L] New RFE - Outline Parameter sorting
Sent by: wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx
I put in an RFE to not (or optionally not) sort parameters when the
is marked to sort alphabetically. I don't know about you guys/gals, butlook
99.999% of the time I have the outline sorted alphabetically. The only
piece I don't want sorted alphabetically are the parameters, so when I
up parameter info (since content assist doesn't show parameterhttp://www.ibm.com/developerworks/rfe/execute?use_case=viewRfe&CR_ID=10305
descriptions, and per the rejected RFE
it won't get them), I have to unsort, re-expand the parameters, then whenhttp://www.ibm.com/developerworks/rfe/execute?use_case=viewRfe&CR_ID=24376
I'm done getting what I want, I need to resort.
