Makes sense, Greg. For me the jury is still out on the "Show Filter Pools" option, due to the fairly substantial changes it makes to the RSE tree and how it works. I'm going to play with it a little bit to see if I can get used to it. Joe
From: Fleming, Greg (ED) Joe, I create new filter pools which behave like "windows folders". For instance, I have one pool called "source", under which I have three filters created over the source files for our three migration environments. I have another pool called "data" which contains my filters over the data libraries in those environments. I have a third pool called "programs" which contains filters... well, you get the picture. The only stuff left in the default pool that comes with the connection is the library list and user libraries.
