I must have tried this umpteen times and never got it to work. I thought
the "Add" button would add a new string, but it doesn't. Instead, you need
to click on "New filter string", set your parameters, and then click
"Create" near the bottom of the box.

This is actually very, VERY cool. I'm still a little put off by the "Filter
Pool view", if you can call it that (the changes to the UI that occur when
you check the Show Filter Pools box), but this could help me significantly.

Thanks, Jim (and Rick and Adam)!

Joe,

Filter strings let you do multiple strings like a list - Right click on
the
filter, open properties, and click on filter strings. You can add as many
as you like for different libraries, etc.

Does that help?
