Ok, slow down....  Take a deep breath.....

This is only your second day with the product, so what exactly do you
expect.  If you have not gone through the tutorials, I urge you to stop
fighting with the product and go through some of them....  In particular,
see "Intro to the Remote System Explorer".  You can find the tutorials in
>HELP >Tutorials Galery.

First newbie mistake, made by nearly everyone who has started with this
product, is to expect it to be a Windows version of PDM.  You will remain
frustrated with this product until you decide to accept this product for
what it is.  This is a massive product, and as such, there's a large
learning curve associated with it.  Stick to the basics; RSE is the launch
pad, LPEX is the editor (Code Designer, for GUI DDS editor), and the
debugger.  With these under your belt, the rest of the product can be
reviewed at your leisure.

Let's say I am trying to work on a DSPF, but I need to alter my library
list. I tried the CMD 9 in the Qshell but EDtlible doesn't do anything.

I am sorry to say, I think this product is unduly difficult to get the
hang of.
It is not encouraging to people who don't see the need to go off PDM. I
know that they are forcing us to, but IBM should be ready for a lot of
complaining.
