Heck I just learned something new too.  Select Help | Cheat Sheets... .
When the box appears click iSeries then double click on "Edit,compile,
and run your RPG or COBOL application".  A new view opens in the current
perspective and is a guided approach to using RSE to develop, although
the tutorial contains a typo.  

In the section "Opening a member" it references the short cut of Ctrl
+Shft +I as a short cut to the "Open Member In Editor" dialog box, but
with an un-configured install of 6.0 it has always been Ctrl +Shft +A.
This is regardless of the view window I am in.
