Hi All, Because of some problems ordering WDSc 6.0 with V5R1 systems we have put the following exception process in place. If you only have a V5R1 machine then send the following note to you business partner (only IBM business partners can use the process below, your business partner will need to do this on your behalf.) Thanks... IBM business partners and IBM reps will be informed about the following process to request WDSC V6.0 clients on behalf of their V5R1 WDS entitled customers until Sept 30, 2005 (End-Of-Service date for OS/400 V5R1). Business partners should continue to go through the normal IBM ordering process using the configurator to request WDSC 6.0 for V5R2 and V5R3 customers. For V5R1 requests business partners should follow the exception process outline below. A business partner is a company that sells IBM hardware, software, solutions that are developed on IBM technology, and services. A WDS entitled customer means they have a current iSeries SW Maintenance or SW Subscription contract. Effective immediately, the business partner or IBM rep can send an email to the email address below. IBM will send the WDSC V6.0 to the shipping address provided in the email. Send an email to jswong@xxxxxxxxxx In the email, provide the following information: Requester name (Business partner or IBM rep) Are you a business partner or IBM rep? Business partner phone number CD shipping address Provide customer name, number, contact person and phone number (Please ensure your customer is an entitled WDS customer.)
