Changing behavior of search in editor -- WDSCI-L

Does anyone know if there is a preference available somewhere to stop the
"Find" function from immediately searching for the last entered string as
soon as it is invoked?

 

What I would like is to hit CTRL-F, and have the Find dialog box pop up and
WAIT for me to enter what I would like to search for, rather than having it
immediately move my source member to show a line corresponding to the last
search I've done.
