Should I be able to debug a program for the first time from the debug
perspective? It will really be a pain if I have to go to the object to start
debug for the first time.

Hi Rick,

The debug server requirement is new for V6.0 in order to support debugging
in multiple IP addresses, firewall or NAT environment.

You only need to start debug server once in the system (until IPL or
someone else end the debug server.)

To start it, you could either right click on one of the subsystem in the
RSE and choose Remote Server -> Debug -> Start or use "STRDBGSVR" command
in 5250.
