Xuan,

I followed your instructions below and started a debug session from the program
object. That gave me what I expected. It did ask for a debug server to be
started though and I haven't seen that in previous releases.

After I had created a debug configuration for the program I was able to enter
the debug perspective and launch that configuration. Prior to my previous
e-mail I tried to launch debug on this program as previously stated and nothing
happened.

Do I need to start the debug server before trying to debug? If so, is there a
way to have it automatically started? Is there a difference between starting
debug from the program object and starting debug from the debug perspective?

Rick

Hi Rick,

Could you describe your steps in more details?

Did you right click on a program and choose Debug As --> Interactive?
If yes, there will not be a prompt for you if there is already a RSE
interactive session associated with this connection. Debugger supposes
just starts up.
If you want to get the prompt dialog to enter the program name and running
command, please right click on a program and choose Debug(Prompt) -->
Interactive...

Thanks,
