And it's the same people that finally say iSeries is outdated... and switch to 
Microsoft.

The same goes for the management as well, running on old AS/400 hardware that 
dates from times a Pentium I was state of the art.  Again they move to brand 
new Intel boxes as they're considered more modern as AS/400.

Presumable its because not all of their programmmers are comfortable with
RPGIV.

RPGIV has been out for almost 10 years? I cant believe that this kind of
thinking is still around. 

If a programmer hasn't picked up a version of their chosen language that has
been around for 10 years, what does that say about their skills. They are at
least 10 years out of date!
