Hi Ewout 1) Delete the intermediate xml file located in \workspace\.metadata\.plugins\com.ibm.etools.iseries.core\information - whose file name ends with source member name. 2) Check the option to refresh cache (you should uncheck it after creating the outline view - since this should really be checked only when the external descriptions have changed). This can be found under Window->Preferences->Remote Systems->ISeries->Program Verifiers 3) Restart WDSC try again to create the outline view. If that does not work, please send me the recreation material in a savf, at haji@xxxxxxxxxxx Regards, Nazmin Haji ewout.boter@abbot t.com Sent by: To wdsci-l-bounces@m wdsci-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx idrange.com cc Subject 09/06/2004 02:29 [WDSCI-L] Refresh in Outline View AM freezes WDSCi Please respond to Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries Sometimes, when I do a refresh in the Outline View, it completely freezes WDSCi. The progress bar at the bottom of the screen suggests that there is still activity, but actually nothing happens. When I click on the red icon labeled 'Cancel current operation', nothing happens too. The progress bar keeps going, but nothing is stopped. Even clicking on the Close icon of the window doesn't do anything. This has happened before when I was using version 5.1.0 of WDSCi, and I was hoping that upgrading to version 5.1.2 would solve the problem, but apparently the problem isn't solved. Does anyone know the cause of this problem and (more importantly) the solution for it?
