Paul, thanks for the feedback. How many objects are in the library which takes a minute to list the source files in? Are any of your files DDM files, by chance? I'm still a bit confused as to your rationale for not being able to use WDSC for editing members in these files. Can't you just create a member filter, so you don't have to list the source files at all? I understand you want a member open capability for quick once-only fixes, but what about for the members you edit twice or more? Doesn't the member filter work here? Note the filter dialogs do remember every library, file or member name ever entered ... the history is in the pulldown and the last one entered is selected. So, in your scenario, even with the member filter you'd only have to enter the new member name. If you have edited it before then there is a filter and you can use it in a few seconds too. I don't mean to push back on what you want, I understand it, I just want to be sure you have really given filters a fair try so you are productive while waiting for us to add your fastpath open dialog.
