Jon, In my case the first time it loads in WDSC it takes about the same time as it does in code400. All subsequent times are faster. To me the first time is all that matters anyway! It certainly is not faster than SEU as an article I read touted it to be. You can not talk other developers into using it if it is slower than SEU. Unless you are like me and like digging into all the extra features that an IDE such as WDSC provides. You are right the subsequent loads are faster but if I only open it once that does not matter. -- PAUL PENDLETON "Jon Paris" <Jon.Paris@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote in message news:PJEBKKDJCLHGMJDACPMPIENHDMAA.Jon.Paris@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > >> Why does CODE/400 load the source so much quicker than WDSC? > > That's an interesting comment since I find the exact opposite to be true. > > Jon Paris > Partner400 > www.Partner400.com > > > _______________________________________________ > This is the Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries (WDSCI-L) mailing list > To post a message email: WDSCI-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx > To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, > visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/wdsci-l > or email: WDSCI-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx > Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives > at http://archive.midrange.com/wdsci-l. >
