When we originally purchased JBA in 1997 we bought an AS/400 Model 150 as a testing maching. It was around $20,000, but we've had to add on additional disks and memory. We've probably got at least $30,000 in it now, but I would assume newer machines are less expensive or a used machine could work. We copy libraries from one machine to another and you're then testing with a true copy of your live environment. This is an expensive luxury, but it is really nice.
