Hi Birgitta

I thought about that as well. I read about (RPG) subprocedure overloading a while ago but haven't experimented with that yet. I once ran into a problem with unwanted overloading by SQL when I mistakenly had generated a version of my procedere in QGPL instead of in the program library.
I checked for other instances of this stored procedure in SYSROUTINES, but this is the only one.

When I cast my parameter like this

call dvltmf_sethash(char('DRGPWS81', 10));

I still get the SqlState 42724 with the SQL0444 message.

Kind regards
