Hello Birgitta

This unfortunately does not make a difference. I checked the current schema value before and after setting it to DEFAULT and it was '*LIBL' in both cases. I also checked the other settings in ACS/RunSqlScripts and 5250/StrSql. As far as I could determine they are the same.

In SYSPROCS and SYSROUTINES the DVLTMF_SETHASH stored procedure has *LIBL/PWSS_HSH(PWSHSH_SET_MSHSH) as its external name. When I invoke from a different library either a function or stored procedure with *LIBL/some_service_program(xxx) in its external name it can be found (with of course the appropriate library list set)

So I'm wondering, is there some mechanism in place that tries to determine what (service) program to call? Like when I call an SQL function with different parameters, it may result in calling a different function due to overloading?

Kind regards,
