I have usted green screen since 1975, in an "Intel development systen",
next in s/32, S/34, S/36, AS/400... and I still use it a lot. I like it.
But, I have not found a single user that prefers green screen rather than a
fast web interface. Of course the jung ones, but even the old users that
hesitated a lot before trying the web do not want to go back to the green
screen.
Also, I am lazy, so when I need to program a report, or a complete new
system, I preffer to do it whith the more powerfull and flexible tools that
the web provides.
Win-win: work less get happier users.

This list is about RPG, on IBM i.
What's your point? We both introduced topic after topic in the course of
this discussion just to prove our point.
Maybe it's a language thing, maybe we're both obstinate. I still think
your claims about browser based UIs being superior to Green Screens in
every single occasion are wrong. If you just plainly hate Green Screens
then please admit this instead of trying to come up with random
of general browser based superiority. And suggesting what most likelycomes
down to a major rewrite of a complete application pool when someone asksa
*very* specific question about a DSPF issue appears rather ignorant tome.
