For the archive, CVTRPGSRC allows the conversion of an individual member, a generic group, or all members in a particular source file. A script may not be necessary for mass conversion.

A /COPY member is just another source member to be converted. There is an additional option on the CVTRPGSRC command:

EXPCPY(*NO/*YES)
Specifies whether a /COPY member(s) is expanded into the converted source member.  EXPCPY(*YES) should be specified only if you are having conversion problems pertaining to /COPY members.

Eddie mentioned /COPY members. I haven't personally encountered them
much, but presumably CVTRPGSRC handles those too, right?

If so, then I could imagine writing a script to do mass conversions,
which could be a nontrivial one-time cost, but then could be applied
even to vendor updates.
