D ADS EUDS EXTNAME(FILE)
C *DTAARA DEFINE ADS
C UNLOCK ADS
C IN ADS


You just need to add the DTAARA keyword to your DS definition.

dcl-ds ADS extname('FILE') dtaara end-ds;

unlock ads;
in ads;
