I will look at your Python links and get back to you. We are still on V7R1
and not looking good to upgrade this year (unless some new feature
required).
I do need to train other programmers (shell programs, commands, etc) in
whatever solution as to a set of steps to create an output.
Also looking at the Easy400 tools (which I have used several before).

If you want quick and easy (and of course free), there are arguably
better options than POI. I strongly recommend iSeriesPython and
XlsxWriter (which is what I use personally). If you can wait until IBM
officially releases their Python for PASE (currently scheduled for
late June), then you can use that instead of iSeriesPython.
