As a follow up to this thread, and still a part of it, I recall someone
mentioning something about how LR doesn't always work the way we think.

IE: doing a return and not setting LR on doesn't work in some cases....

does anyone recall that comment being made and the justification or
explanation of that statement?

This would be in conjunction with comparing a progarm that has an internal
Prcedure call versus calling an external program that just does a return
and doesn't set LR on at completion...
