Alan, if you want to be taken seriously you might want to consider ratcheting down the hyperbole. I've already debunked the "hundred millionth of a second" slower comment. In the real world SQL can easily be 100% slower than RLA, and in a long-running night job that's significant. It's often the difference between an acceptable window and an unacceptable one.

And for the record, nobody here is saying SQL is bad. Just that it is a complement to RLA, not a replacement for it. The only hate here comes from the RPG and RLA haters. ;)
