Upgrade, upgrade, upgrade.  And do NOT stop until you hit V5R4.  V5R4 
added stuff in rpgLE that is really nice.  RPG400 is dead.  You might as 
well ask if there's anything in RPG I to help you out.  Failing V5R4, (and 
that would be foolish) then IBM has a product called DB2 Extenders that 
works nice.  But, a coworker who has worked on both likes the V5R4 support 
for RPGLE better.  (And you also pay extra for DB2 Extenders.)
