Client Access has a choice to not show column separators, so yellow is an
available choice again.

Several factors may be at play here.  Certain combinations of
attributes get translated into others.  For instance, Yellow will
always have column separators.  Blink will always be red.  I'm fairly
sure the DDS manual describes these combinations.  If you've chosen a
set of incompatible attributes, you won't get what you want.
 
Secondly, there _might_ be a mismatch between the device description
in use on the iSeries and the emulation software you're using.  I know
it isn't likely, but that's remotely possible.
