I don't use CODE anywhere except for one client--I use CodeStudio which
doesn't care what's on the host system (as it should be). Of course I don't
get all the cool in-editor syntax validation that CODE has, but it does
compile directly out of the editor on the host--and even allows you to
easily set up the compiler settings for each source member without learning
CODE-speak.

Bob,

Or maybe we need be more aggressive and have my employer get me a laptop ;)

I personally hate laptops, I like a full size monitor, full keyboard and
mouse.

What do you do when the client isn't up to date on CODE required ptfs?

Rick

Richard,
Maybe we need to be more aggressive. Sure they give me a cubical (or
office)
but I always connect my laptop to their system.
