I don't use CODE anywhere except for one client--I use CodeStudio which doesn't care what's on the host system (as it should be). Of course I don't get all the cool in-editor syntax validation that CODE has, but it does compile directly out of the editor on the host--and even allows you to easily set up the compiler settings for each source member without learning CODE-speak. Bob, Or maybe we need be more aggressive and have my employer get me a laptop ;) I personally hate laptops, I like a full size monitor, full keyboard and mouse. What do you do when the client isn't up to date on CODE required ptfs? Rick -------original message-------- Richard, Maybe we need to be more aggressive. Sure they give me a cubical (or office) but I always connect my laptop to their system.
