Tracy, To add to what Hans, and others have said... I won't try to tell you that you shouldn't or didn't feel the way you did, or that we're not rude sometimes - we are ;) I've been doing this for 20 years, and I still get flamed on occasion. but, behind the sometimes rude behaviour IS a message, and a ton of great technical info. and if you look around usenet or other message boards and lists groups, the folks here are MUCH less apt to flame than the average. it's kinda like being coached by Bobby Knight. Flames sometimes happen because we DO care deeply, if we didn't, we would just ignore you. ;) Rick ---- Original Message------ Tracy Ball wrote: > I am sure Scott's information is valuable, and to the point. Tracy: Those of use who've been reading on-line discussions for years and years have learned not to take on-line discussions too seriously or too personally. It's best to concentrate on the technical content of the discussion and not the style. Cheers! Hans
