But you don't know that when you first get involved with a list, and when
somebody makes an aggressive comment to a newbie they might not come back.
Some of the most basic questions that get asked here are a good ground for
less experienced programmers to become a teacher to a newbie.

Tracy: Those of use who've been reading on-line discussions for
years and years have learned not to take on-line discussions too
seriously or too personally. It's best to concentrate on the
technical content of the discussion and not the style.
